Nemabakt, Anthem-F - preparations developed in VIZR by the doctor of agricultural sciences L.G. Danilov based on entomopathogenic nematodes and symbiotic bacteria. They are registered to fight the Colorado potato beetle, the larvae of the click beetle beetles - wireworms, cabbage and sea buckthorn fly, western flower (California) thrips. On potatoes, the drug is used for application to the soil when planting tubers and when spraying plants during budding. Therefore, in the arsenal of gardeners should be biochemical drugs (fitoderm, acarin (agravertine), and in Ukraine also actophyte (analogue fitoverma) and gaupsin. The last of them contains two strains of bacteria, it is effective against a number of pests, simultaneously against some diseases. In the neighboring Republic of Belarus, there are also new interesting biologics, which have passed the state registration and are included in the catalog of plant protection products. In Russia, there are also insecticidal biological products with multifunctional properties that have fungistatic action. However, in practice, you can sometimes make a mixture of drugs. For example, we carried out the mixing of biopreparations with growth-promoting, fungicidal (extrasol, biosil, phytosporin) and insecticidal action immediately before the treatment of plants. This did not affect the biological efficacy of bitoxibacillin and lepidocid in the fight against the caterpillars of whitefish.
Most often, a gardener has to use biological products in combination with other plant protection products listed in the list (see Flora-Price, 2010 No. 10) and other environmentally safe products that do not require special registration, i.e. we approach integrated plant protection. At the same time, an important role is assigned to the monitoring of pests and diseases. On the basis of a survey of plantings, the need for control is determined, usually it happens when the number of pests is approaching the economic threshold of harm, and also taking into account the number of entomophages and entomopathogens based on a special criterion - the level of natural enemies. Lepidocide - It is an insecticidal preparation of biological type of intestinal action. This remedy is effective against leaf-eating parasites.
The solution has a selective effect due to the specific intestinal structure of the pests. The substance contains crystals and spores of microbes and biological substances (waste products of bacteria). The biological tool is designed to protect plants from such insects: peppered moth, silkworm, nun, leafworm, meadow moth, white butterfly, moth, and other pests.
The tool is allowed for use in the forest area and in the household, in the garden plots and for urban plantations.
Pharmacological properties of the drug
As part of "Lepidocide" there are such components:
- cell cultures and spores of the producer of Bacillus thuringiensis var. Kurstaki,
- delta-endotoxin protein-crystalline form,
- inert filler, which ensures the stability and safety of "Lepidocide".
Biological products for disease control
Planriz - created on the basis of the bacterium Pseudomonas fluorescens. A simple production technology made it possible to obtain the drug in a low-tonnage manner at plant protection stations (branches of the Federal State Institution Rosselkhoztsentr). It is widely used on cabbage to combat bacteriosis, where chemical fungicides are not allowed. It is used for presowing treatment of cereal seeds (0.5 l / ha) with low pathogen infestation, for processing potato tubers and spraying during the growing season. The drug has a growth promoting effect. It can be used in integrated plant protection, in the system of alternation of chemical and biological agents.
In the regions, this drug is most often produced by the former plant protection stations (now branches of the Federal State Institution Rosselkhoztsentr)
Phytosporin. A broad-spectrum drug based on Bacillus subtilis. It is used on cereals, vegetables and potatoes, for the treatment of fruit and berry plants, in greenhouses. The effect of the drug is enhanced when combined with the humic drug (gumi). When processing plants and fruits, they are covered with a black mesh from the preparation, which prevents phytopathogens from penetrating for a long time. For example, tomatoes, processed once in the middle of July 2009 from the phytophthora, harvested in late August, ripened at home with virtually no waste. Preparation of the working fluid should be carried out according to the method recommended for BTB-202, lepidocide.
Binoram. The drug contains two types of bacteria that are active against plant diseases, has a strong growth stimulating effect. It is increasingly used in cereals, vegetables and potatoes for seed treatment and spraying during the growing season. In personal subsidiary farms and gardening is recommended for processing potatoes in the fight against rhizoctonia. Consumption rate of 7.5 ml per 10 l of water. This amount can be treated with 10 kg of potato tubers before planting. Produced by LLC Alsiko-Agroprom (Moscow).
Baktofit. It is used in open and closed ground to combat root rot, powdery mildew, late blight, rhizoctoniosis, blackleg, fusarium, bacteriosis on vegetables, roses, carnation. Conduct watering at the root of 0.2-0.3% solution, spraying plants - 0.5-1.0%. In personal subsidiary farms it is used to protect cucumber from root rot by soaking seeds in a 0.2% working solution for 3-6 hours.
Glyocladin. Biological product based on the fungus of the genus Gliocladium, which has a strong antagonistic effect on phytopathogens. Designed to combat root rot. Especially effective drug on cucumber.
Alirin, Hamair. Refers to the latest developments VIZR. Preparations are made in LLC Agrobiotechnology (Moscow). Recommended for widespread use in open and closed ground. Considering the low consumption rates of the drug during seed treatment and spraying on vegetative plants, a convenient preparative form that ensures adaptability to the application, preparations began to be in demand by large AOs, farmers, and owners of personal subsidiary farms. Drugs are available at retail. They are used according to the instructions.
The use of biological products to combat diseases differs from the tactics of pest control. They are usually started to be applied prophylactically or at the first signs of the onset of the disease.
